The software drivers installed perfectly on Windows 7 64-bit. I wanted to give an accurate review of how I viewed it right out of the box and having been using the original n52 for over a year. I felt it necessary to write a really early review because once you get use to something you forget some of the fresh, new features. Some of the older keys, you were required to really push until you felt a soft "click". Very pleased with this upgrade.Ĭons: (Using this space for additional text) It seems to me like the keys are not only easier to press but they're more responsive. It's really much easier and more responsive. Also on the old N52 the "orange circled button" was a bit flaky, but not on this one. I'm not sure what other reviewers were talking about when they said that they were harder to press.
They're a bit slimmer and much easier to press. Quick swaps between profiles is also a nice addition and it still has all of it's old features like channel changing on the fly, custom macros, key bindings etc. Also this software has a different layout, but it's fairly simple to adapt to if you're familiar with the original n52 software. First off, the software is more advanced in that you can macro in mouse clicks, right, center and left clicks may be added to your macro now. Pros: I've upgraded from the n50 to the n52 and now to this n52TE and I can assure you this controller is much improved over its predecessors.
